Flagship Program
Power students benefit from regular mentorship from Sonder staff.
Through our flagship Education is Power sponsorship program, students receive support grounded in four pillars: sponsorship, mentorship, academic support, and life skills enrichment. Our holistic approach supports student success in and outside of the classroom.
During the 2024 – 2025 school year, The Sonder Project supported 211 students across 38 schools in secondary and post-secondary education, including 132 students in Malawi and 79 in Burkina Faso. Students achieved a 90 % success rate, our strongest result to date, and 19 sponsored students completed secondary school, marking our largest graduating class yet.
