Bruno, has learned many skills to better herself in her career, and is currently working on the show “Louisiana Film Channel” which will act as a platform for local filmmakers to showcase their films. She explains the most interesting part of her job as, “Making a show from the beginning. It’s such a great feeling because it’s like watching a baby grow up and flourish.” Her advice to those who seek the same career path is, “Things will always go crazy in production, you just gotta go with the flow, stay on your feet, and find solutions. There is no point in complaining about what happened, it’s always best to move forward to get the job done.” Bruno stays adapting to her work environment and new tasks and leaves those who wish to follow in her footsteps with this advice, “Always keep learning, you need to be adaptable, the film world is constantly changing it’s easier to be hired if you can adapt to situations and learn the new techniques.” With new technology on the rise and old technology flying out the window, being able to pick up new techniques can be the difference between keeping a job and losing it.

runo explains her advice for a career in entertainment production. “It’s hard to get a job in entertainment; networking is key. I got lucky and someone at WLFT-TV saw potential in me and I got a chance to show what I’ve got and learn more about the industry. To reiterate I got lucky, most people aren’t when it comes to getting an entertainment job, networking is key, knowing people in this industry will help you tremendously.”
Connection to employers can go a long way she grants, “I take on a fair amount of responsibility, I’m part of the team at Wlft-tv, everyone has a job to do and we all support each other because when we all do good work the quality of entertainment goes up.” She advises that networking, or communicating with others to spread information across a whole, is one of the most important skills you can acquire.
