LIFESTONED
Betty
In Her
Prime
Written by Nick Stropko
Every day, I walk past hundreds of people on
the street. I spend eight hours a day in an office,
discussing Instagram updates and weekend
plans. I share a resigned silence with seven
other people on an elevator. I have trivial
interactions with bodega owners and bar
patrons. I curse under my breath when a driver
won’t let me run a stop sign on my bike. I avoid
touching people on the subway.
