Brothers of the Phi Delta Chi fraternity showed off their pride, by participating in UIC College of Pharmacy’s annual Greek Week. Greek Week, is an annual, week-long event, hosting a series of friendly competitions between Phi Delta Chi and Kappa Psi, our two beloved professional fraternities at UIC.
Greek Week this year started with an exciting Lip Sync Battle and T-shirt count on February 20th, and continued for a full week with a number of games and sporting events that placed our members against the skill and enthusiasm of Kappa Psi. The week gave an opportunity for fraternity brothers to bond and for opposing groups to join in celebration. Highlights of the week included a very difficult pharmacy-spelling bee, a Ceutics Relay, trivia and several boisterous eating contests including the Twinkie eating contest and the Coke Chug. Soccer and basketball games were also organized and well-attended by both fraternities.
Greek Week ended with Phi Delta Chi taking home an overall victory, which we are all very proud of.
Special thank you’s to our Greek Week Committee and to this year’s Pledge Parents, and to the brothers who volunteered to participate.
