Worthy Vice Counselor

As Worthy Vice Counselor this year, I had a lot of ups and downs, particularly with Soldier Field events. Even though we struggled a little getting all of the games covered, we were able to raise more money than any season before for our chapter by working all the events. I was also tasked with organizing major candidacy period events, like Alpha Sigma night and Initiation. Since Alpha Sigma night was a completely reworked event, I created the basic time table and format for the chapter to use for years to come. To end the year, I worked with the WCC to help plan a spring formal for our chapter at Punch Bowl Social where all the Brothers had an opportunity to spend the night eating and dancing with each other and giving us all a reason to dress up nicely. All in all it was a great year for our chapter that had a few snags, but I think we ended on a high note and I’m looking forward to see what’s to come in the years following.

Alpha Sigma has had another outstanding year, surpassing last year’s accomplishments and setting a new ‘dregs of wine and old gold’ standard for the years to come. This past year I have had the incredible honor of serving as WCC and getting a front row seat of watching the personal and professional growth of each and every brother in our chapter. Throughout the year, Alpha Sigma has exceeded my expectations of leadership displayed within our school, profession, and community. The impact we have together when we bring the AAAE spirit to the table seems to have no bounds. Looking back at the year as a whole, I am so proud of this year’s E-board. Each E-board member gave their best efforts to their brothers and that is truly all that I could have asked for. Alpha Sigma owes a large part of our success as a chapter to these individuals and I cannot thank them enough. Lastly to next years E-board, I cannot wait to see what the future has in store for you. I know they will continue to succeed and achieve milestones for Alpha Sigma.
