PDC Formal
Phi Delta Chi hosts the annual formal at different locations each year. Formal this year was held in the Fullton Market neighborhood at Punch Bowl Social. Brothers enjoyed a beautiful spread of food where everyone indulged on American fare and delicious desserts. From first to fourth year pharmacy students along with alumni, everyone came to fill the space and the need to socialize. Brothers could burn calories playing with a giant set of Jenga or Bocce Ball. The space allowed for each brother to have group conversations or allowed for one to one conversations to catch up or vent about the troubles of life. The night had many laughs and memories. To acknowledge all the characters in our chapter, brothers nominated and voted on each other for superlatives. The Alpha Sigma chapter created a night to remember.

Chapter Retreat
This year Alpha Sigma hosted their annual Chapter Retreat on February 23rd at the UIC College of Pharmacy. Year after year this event has been at the top of each bro’s list for their favorite event of semester. This year the competition was stiff for who would take home the grand prize. NIBs and veteran brothers joined forces to take on opponent teams. Strengths and weaknesses were tested by a series of challenges including candy toss, baby matching, puzzle solving, and tower building to name a few. By the end of the night brothers were exhausted by their efforts to take the W. The retreat is a great bonding experience for our brothers. It brings together brothers of all classes and gives them a chance to socialize with those who they may not normally. Retreat brings us closer together, provides tons of fun and laughter, and is a very cherished event by our brothers.
