I incorporate meditation into my daily practice and always make time to run outside , practice yoga β¦ listen to bird songs , have fun , laugh and play as much as I can . And of course , indulge in my passion for cinema and film scores β¦ I watch a lot of movies .
Do you listen to music in your free time ? If so , who are you into these days ?

Can we expect to hear you in Dune Part 2 ? I know you can β t say much , but could you give us a cryptic glimpse into the film β s music ( something that wouldn β t violate your NDA , of course )?
I can say with confidence that the probability is looking pretty good that you β ll hear something of my sonic DNA in Dune : Part Two : - )
Any solo work we can expect in 2024 ? Or any interesting collaborations ?
Yes , some very exciting collaborations . I β ve been cowriting an album with Stephen Lipson which should be completed sometime in 2024 .
I β ve been collaborating with composer and film maker Giada Colagrande for the album Agadez β Queendoms β which should be coming out early next year .
You can expect to hear some of my vocals on a new Glen Velez album , to be released in 2024 . There are some film projects , as well as a video game project on the horizon , but I β ll have to keep those a secret for the time being .
Would you say you β ve achieved all your childhood goals ? Do you have new goals now ?
I β m not a goal oriented person . I believe in the creative power of chaos and the ecstatic present .
Your advice to fellow vocalists . What does it take to become one of Hans Zimmer β s favorite singers ?
A guiding principle for me is that our voice is the bridge from silence to sound and the frequencies of Love are an essential motor for the heartbeat of empathy . So my advice to fellow vocalists is to deepen your relationship with pulse work and explore the rhythmic power of the voice . We can do this at any time by purifying our current attitudes and perspectives through a musical lens . I recommend practicing the art of listening and paying attention to how reality moves ; this will always serve as a portal to boundless creativity .
