Saltus students Liam Peniston (‘cello) and Gabriel Jones (violin) this year’s recipients of the Menuhin Foundation Scholarships.
Two scholarships each academic year are awarded to Menuhin Foundation students who are ABRSM Grade 5 standard and above by way of an audition to a panel of judges.
This year’s 2014 -15 scholarship winner is Liam Peniston (‘cello ) and the runner up is Gabriel Jones ( violin ). Both students are members of the Saltus Senior Orchestra and Senior String Ensemble, directed by Ms. Kerry Haslam.
