learnt when visiting the beautiful island of contrasts.

or instance, not many know
that in Cyprus, the unlucky day
is Tuesday 13th or that the inhabitants of
the island believe in kallikantzaros, the
malevolent goblins that come to the sur-
face during the twelve days of Christmas.
However, it is a fact that Cypriots
are known in every corner of the world
for their genuine hospitality and honest
friendliness.
