Prinve - HITNRUN Phase 1

I actually wasn’t expecting Prince’s album to sound so upbeat and fun. I’m used to his music being much more slow and intense. I think this album was a nice change. The features were nice. I never would have guessed that he would make music with artists like Rita Ora. Since Prince has already showed the world how talented he is, I feel like this album was meant only for pleasure and enjoyment.

Fetty Wap- Fetty Wap

In all honesty, all of Fetty’s music sounded the same. Everything was repetitive in my opinion. This album isn’t something that I can listen to all the way through in one session. My ears grew tired easily. Of course there was a couple of tracks that I really enjoyed at the beginning of the album. As the listening went on, I realized that Fetty Wap isn’t an artist that I could listen to constantly. On the plus side, I don’t know of anyone else that is similar to him.

Angel Haze - Back to the Woods

Back to the woods was pretty good. It surprised me that she can sing as well as rap. I like that the songs were super long. It helped me not to get bored or lose focus. I also appreciate that her music had depth. I feel as though she was actually telling a story in every track. There was a nice variety of sounds going on. Her music is unique in the best way.
