Lana Del Rey- Honeymoon

Honeymoon, like most of Lana’s music was mellow. The songs remained delicate throughout the entire album. Lana’s voice sounded beautiful. In a way, the music did sound very somber and eerie. If you’re not interested in alternative sounding music, I wouldn’t recommend listening to this. Also, most of her music sounds similar. I for one cannot listen to the whole album straight through for I will grow bored. Individually, all the tracks were great in my opinion.

Leona Lewis- I Am

Overall, I liked that this album had a few uplifting and powering songs. I think she has a nice voice but I feel like most of Leon’s music was extremely simple and tiresome. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great. Personally, I prefer her older music. Her new stuff did not move me.

Somo - My Life 2

This album didn’t move me. I’ve heard R&B albums that were so much better. There were a few songs that were exceptional, but nothing I would constantly listen to. All of the tracks dragged on in my opinion. Somo does have a pretty decent voice, but nothing special to my ears.

Fav: Ride

Disclosure- Caracal

I don’t have a lot to say about this album. There were many great features on this album. I really enjoyed the faster-paced music. If I were into working out, this would be the album that I’d listen to while doing so. The beats were all pretty nice but I wouldn’t consider this album anything special.
