Other Services is classified under SIC( 92) Section O – Q(‘ Other Community, Social and Personal Service Activities’). While this includes a range of community, personal, and administrative services, employment in this category is predominantly driven by Gambling and Betting activities, which account for approximately 70 – 77 % of total jobs within the group across recent reports.
Here we can see that male-dominated employment is most pronounced in sectors such as Construction, Electricity & Water Supply, and Transport & Communication. In contrast, Education and Health & Social Work are predominantly female-employed. Industries such as Financial Intermediation and Other Services display a more balanced gender split. Given that Other Services is largely driven by Gambling and Betting activities, its relatively even gender distribution suggests that employment within this dominant sub-industry is not as gender-skewed as in other high-concentration sectors.
