The Arts
The Food
Previously the abode to many a
renowned artist, including James
McNeill Whistler and Dante
Gabriel, Chelsea hosts a number
of noteworthy galleries.
Some of the best Indian food
I’ve eaten in town resides here.
Bombay Brasserie screams
authentic Bombay flavour, the
decor matching the exuberant
cuisine.

Chelsea Arts Club, since
childhood I’ve been coming
here to eat many a delicious
kipper breakfast around the large
communal dining table with my
uncle who is an artist. Banter
is rife due to the creative quirky
members. Established in 1890,
the club still rings true to its
original ethos; ‘be bohemian in
character’.

Noor Jahan, thought of as one
of the best Indians in town, it’s
almost shameful how many
times I have eaten there.

Brinkleys, one of the best places
to kickstart a night out. Music
is fab, the food is good, great
location, a no-brainer.

Polpo has newly opened in
Duke of York Square, the perfect
place for alfresco dining and
tucking into Venetian dishes this
summer.
