What are the responsibilities
of Miss Ceremonial?
Official Title: Miss Gallup Inter-Tribal Indian Ceremonial
Queen. My responsibilities are
to impart traditional knowledge
and teachings to those I serve
and come into contact with, as
Miss Ceremonial. I represent
and share with more than my
own tribe, as Miss Ceremonial. I am able to do this by having active roles in community
events and school assemblies
as a speaker and a flutist. I also
promote the Gallup Inter-Tribal
Indian Ceremonial which is on
its 93rd year, is a New Mexico
True event, and embodies the
virtues of Native American Peoples. Once again, it will be held
at the Red Rock State Park
from August 6th to the 10th.

Through prayer I have come
to understand everyone has
boundless potential and that my
abilities and talents are meant

family has helped me with my
goals that were meant to make
my life better.
What is your greatest failure
(any failure in life), and what
did you learn from it?
Something I am trying to master
is patience. I have learned that
a lot of the things I stress over
