Corruption
The sports change their objectives throughout the time, nowadays the practice in a professional way of a sport is for money and in a few cases for honor, this intention for money made that some associations, delegation or organizations made something corrupt to get more money, there are a lot of example one is the example of the IOC as we kwon there are some countries that give money to the IOC to have the Host city of an Olympic Game a similar case is one of the problems in the FIFA, because Qatar can give money to be the Host country for the world cup in 2022. But this Organization have more problems as the FBI demonstrate in the FIFA-GATE, the case of corruption in the FIFA, “Nine FIFA officials—including two current vice presidents—along with five corporate executives were charged with racketeering, wire fraud, and money laundering, among other offenses.” (FBI, 2015), that mean that the FIFA is accused by bribery, fraud and money laundering, the president of the FIFA, members of the continental association (UEFA, CONCACAF, CONMEBOL, etc.) And more they were arrested for these type of crimes.
Doping
The traps not only come in the corruption, the doping is the use of some medicines or substances that help to get a best physical performance, normally the organizations use controls of doping but in some cases the controls fail or hide the true.
The moment when we can see more problems with doping is the JJOO and next in some biking competences and the rest of sports, In the JJOO there are delegations like Russia that use doping in a good part of their athletes in the JJOO of Rio 2016, but in the JJOO there are a lot of cases of athletes that use doping methods, in Munich 1972 the IOC decelerate that is prohibited the use of doping methods in the JJOO, in spite of there are people that fail to comply the rules and use doping methods, the exams demonstrate in a time the results of doping, normally is between one to 4 years.
