MURALS BRING HOPE AND INTERAGENCY SUPPORT
The Rome DRC was recently presented with two murals that were hand-painted by the men in the arts and crafts department at Walker Faith and Character Based State Prison .
Facilitated by Walker State Prison ’ s Education Specialist , Rance Jones and Rome DRC ’ s Center Administrator , Brandon Henderson , the addition of the murals to the Rome DRC brings a touch of the community and hope indoors and is a true representation of interagency support between the Georgia Department of Corrections and the Georgia Department of
Community Supervision .
The Rome DRC staff and participants are forever grateful for the inspiring art that is now displayed for all who visit our DRC for many years to come .
