My Experience with Mental Health and Pup Play Article written by Pup Dusty When I was in high school, I was known as the boy who didn’t talk, who didn’t want to be a part of this world. That was me four years ago. At the time I was struggling with how to deal with my depression and anxiety as well as coming out as gay to my family. When I was in the closet with my family, I had a fake Facebook account which I used to try to communicate with the outside world and feel like I wasn’t the only one out there. While I was struggling, I ended up finding the kink community who happened to be more than willing to help me out to the best of their abilities. In the time that I was on Facebook, I ended up meeting one of my pup brothers whose pup name is Rex. He was able to help me and willing to be there for me in any way possible. While we were talking, he ended up discovering that he was a pup and I decided to give it a try. When I tried pup play for the first time, I forgot about a lot of the negative things going on with my life. It almost seemed like all of my worries slipped away without a big problem.
