On May 19 , 2022 , on the mountain top at Mount
Trashmore in Virginia Beach , VA , ARDX in partnership with ARDX Foundation , Bank of America , and Grow with Google , announced the start of its third year of the Creating a Millionaire competition Reddix Rules Cohort . The Cohort winners were welcomed by Virginia Beach Council Woman Sabrina Wooten and Dr . Reddix was honored to give each of the 10 ladies their golden ticket to the Reddix Rules program .
ARDX IN OUR COMMUNITY
ARDX is able to tackle some of the social determinants and obstacles women of color face in marginalized communities of Virginia by providing an opportunity for funding , as well as mentoring and coaching to develop their business acumen .
“ I am thrilled to continue this tradition of building bridges to economic empowerment for women of color businesses owners . The Reddix Rules Fund endeavors to not only create successful business owners but create employers ,” said Dr . Reddix . “ The formula to success begins with enhancing operational excellence , building mental resilience , and cultivating strong mentorship relationships .”
The finalists were chosen from hundreds of applicants and are already business owners who have proven they have what it takes . “ We are looking forward to watching this cohort flex their entrepreneurial and creative muscles throughout the competition ,” said Frank Castellanos , Bank of America President of Hampton Roads . “ The investment we made in this program is representative of our commitment to supporting business owners from diverse backgrounds in Hampton Roads and across the nation .”
