The 2022 NFL Draft is going to be a historic one. There hasn’t been a draft in nearly a decade that wasn’t headlined by at least one quarterback. However, the 2022 NFL Draft doesn’t really have one distinct player headlining it. Doug said “I don’t know how to feel about this class. No headlining quarterbacks; it just feels very even at every position.” Nonetheless, there are a bunch of amazing prospects outside of the quarterbacks. From offense to defense, this is one of the deepest classes we’ve seen in a very long time.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have the first overall pick once again for the second year in a row. Last year, they got their franchise quarterback in Trevor Lawrence. Now, they have two options. They can draft one of the premier offensive tackles to protect Trevor Lawrence in either Evan Neal or Ikem Ekwonu, or, more likely, they take defensive end Aidan Hutchinson out of Michigan. He had an amazing senior season at Michigan and earned his spot at the top of the draft.

There have already been a few trades for top draft this year, and there are expected to be multiple more. Michael said, “I am excited to see the trades and draft picks over the next month. This time of year is the best.”

The NFL Combine recently took place and prospects took to the field to show off their speed, strength, and raw athleticism. There were hundreds of players that showed out, but, specifically, the wide receivers and the cornerbacks stood out. Thomas said this while talking about the great players from the combine: “The edge rushers and wide receivers in this class are so good, and it is also very deep at the offensive line and cornerback group too. This is going to be a great draft.”
