MANGO AND TURMERIC SMOOTHIE BOWL
INGREDIENTS
• 1 ripe mango , peeled and diced
• 1 frozen banana
• 120ml Greek yogurt
• 120ml almond milk ( or any preferred milk )
• 5ml turmeric powder
• 15ml chia seeds
• Granola , fresh berries and sliced almonds for toppings
METHOD
In a blender , combine the mango , banana , Greek yoghurt , almond milk and turmeric powder . Blend until smooth and creamy . Pour the smoothie into a bowl . Sprinkle chia seeds over the smoothie . Top with granola , fresh berries and sliced almonds . Enjoy with a spoon !
GREEK YOGHURT PARFAIT WITH BERRIES AND NUTS
INGREDIENTS
• 240ml Greek yoghurt
• 120ml mixed berries ( strawberries , blueberries , raspberries )
• 30ml honey
• 30g granola
• 30g chopped nuts ( almonds , walnuts or pistachios )
• Fresh mint leaves for garnish ( optional )
METHOD
In a glass or a bowl , layer half of the Greek yoghurt . Add half of the mixed berries on top of the yoghurt . Drizzle the honey over the berries . Sprinkle half of the granola and half of the chopped nuts as a new layer . Repeat the layers with the remaining yoghurt , berries , honey , granola and nuts . Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired . Serve immediately and enjoy this delicious and nutritious parfait !
