Jennifer Adams, the writer of the research “Nothing is True but Beauty, Oscar Wilde in the Aesthetic Movement,” explains the importance given to aesthetics in Oscar Wilde’s creations. There Adams explains that the term Beauty was a vital force “that had the power to impact and improve lives.” (46) This is exactly the main point of Adams, the Victorian people’s needs were to be perfect in order to have a certain power above others.
