THE P RTAL July 2017 Page 17 News from the Ordinariate Sunday 4 th June 2017 T he Statue of Our Lady of Walsingham, consecrated by Mgr Keith at Belmont Abbey in 2015, has now been given a permanent place of honour in the Church of St Basil and St Gwladys at Rogerstone in Cardiff, the new home of the Ordinariate in South Wales. Solemn Mass of Pentecost at the Wales (SE) Ordinariate Mission based at the church of St Basil and St Gwladys in Rogerstone, Newport.   Their new Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham was blessed at the end of Mass, before the singing of the Regina Coeli. In view of the events the previous night, Mass was offered for the victims of the terrorist atrocity at London Bridge and Borough. By the time of the Parish Mass the police had created a safe passage and escorted people to and from mass.
