CCF REVIEW //
The off-site days and exercises form continuation training and they change each time we go . This keeps the cadets interested and gives them fresh challenges every time they take part .
The RAF are starting to regain their flying days , and I know our existing cadets are looking forward to hitting the skies again next year .
Our Adventurous Training expedition departed during the Easter holidays and this year , we enjoyed the more local site of Driffield Training Camp . Activities included an afternoon hike , indoor bouldering , a walk across the Humber Bridge , orienteering , watermanship , mountain biking , and Go Ape ! at Dalby Forest . The cadets had a fantastic time ! place , again at Driffield Training area for the Army , and RAF Leeming for the RAF .
We then enjoyed another overnight exercise in May , with all participants learning new skills or honing existing skills .
We now look forward to Army and RAF Summer Camps returning , and the promise of an exciting 2022 / 23 academic year where we look to expand on our training opportunities on our new training afternoon : Monday 4pm – 5pm .
