BOARDING // football . The new basketball nets have proved really popular , and never an evening goes by without the sound of basketballs bouncing around outside between Dolman House and Fenwick-Smith House . There are some decent players too ! All the practice has been paying off and they have enjoyed several competitive basketball fixtures with local schools and clubs .
FENWICK-SMITH
Following lock-down , it was great to welcome back our boarders to Fenwick-Smith House . There is never a dull moment in boarding and this year has been no different in that respect . We have enjoyed the usual trips to watch Hull City and to various local cinemas to watch the new Bond and Marvel films .
The boys still love their evening visits to the sports hall and to the school gym , and in the better weather their outdoor
I ’ d like to thank all the staff : Kim Burnside ( our fantastic Day Matron ) our fab Domestic Team Sally Terry , Julia Metcalfe , Sue Jackson and Jinny Anderson . Also , our dedicated team of non-resident tutors , Mr B . Byas , Mr Perham , Mr Leatherbee and Mr Parker . Mr Lea , our Resident Tutor this year , left with his wife Helen for pastures new in Dubai in August and we wish them both all the best and bon voyage .
