Sex & Intimacy in the Pink Warming Up Those Chilly Nights A RECIPE FOR ROMANCE and LOVE By: Barbara Musser Shorter daylight hours bring chilly nights. Sharing an evening with your sweetheart in front of the fire with the intention of creating warmth and romance is a way to keep the sparks of love going. What’s the recipe? Begin by setting aside an evening just for you. Set the stage by making some hot drinks ~ hot spiced cider, hot chocolate, hot buttered rum or whatever strikes your fancy and warms your bones. Light a fire if you have a fireplace or wood stove, or light some candles. Turn the lights down low and play some soft background music. Make a cozy nest by the fire with pillows and blankets, on the floor or on the sofa. Have a hand towel and some warm massage oil or lotion handy, and your slippers or a clean pair of socks nearby. Sit with your sweetie in your nest and make yourselves comfy. Take a few moments to look into each other’s eyes and breathe together. This helps you to slow down, connect through your eyes and hearts, and get into the flow of energy and love. See if you can sync your breathing and feel the circular flow of that as you continue to gaze into each other’s eyes. Feel your heart relax and open, and feel the depth of your connection and love for each other. Hold hands and ask your beloved if you can massage and love their feet.
