AGC Movie Night!
5 July 2013 (coincidentally, the same evening IAD celebrated Alumni Night) was AGC Movie Night, featuring one of the theatres’ most recent releases, the family-friendly Despicable Me 2! … well, as family-friendly as a movie centred on world-class criminals gets anyway. Sources whisper that the movie was so much fun, even the poor officer stuck in the very last seat of the front row enjoyed it, resulting neck sprain notwithstanding. Voted the most popular SWUPS event earlier this year, Movie Night was highly anticipated by officers of every scale, so kudos to SWUPS for scrambling to secure us not only a private screening, but one in a theatre large enough to accommodate the overwhelming demand for tickets.
