Events

IAD, being obviously the most happening Division in the AGC, has had enough bonding events these last couple of months to make up for everyone else’s barren calendars. IAD Alumni Night on 5 July 2013 saw several of IAD’s alumni headed over to 1 Upper Pickering to celebrate IAD’s 18 years of existence, with a guest appearance with none other than AG himself. It was official – they even had a cake. And it was fun, with the last officers (trapped in the jaws of foosball, mayhaps?) only leaving after dark.

Unsatisfied with the mere occasional party, IAD also organised an internal, ultra-unglamorous Ferrero Rocher-guzzling contest. A number of contestants tied for first place, consuming an impressive three chocolates in a minute – only seven to go to beat the world record of nine in a minute! The tied contestants chomped their way through a final chocolate as fast as they could to determine a winner, and amidst much mirth and crumply gold foil, a champion was born – none other than prolific photographer and IAD magnate David Low. No wonder he was off photography duty this time.
