“ UNIQUE AND REALLY WELL THOUGHT OUT!”
CHARITY FEEDBACK
14
As with many events for charity, long term legacies and impacts were established during the event planning process( Sharples, Crowther, May, & Orefice, 2014). Economic and Social legacies were established ahead of the event. As mentioned in objective overview, the economic legacy was not reached to the highest level, however, significant money was raised for the charity. The social benefits were reached; a speech was provided by the charity at the event explaining was the charity does. Additional information was provided on the event website and on social media. Feedback from the charity also revealed that they think the event had a positive effect on donations and that they would definitely consider repeating the event in the future. They did provide additional feedback on ways in which more money could have been raised on-the-night including; moving their speech to before the refreshments and raffle tickets were put on sale and offering attendees with a chance to take part in other of the other escape games for an additional fee.
