THE PERFECT GUY FOR AUTUMN

It’ s spring on this side of the world and this isn’ t the first time Vani has asked for autumn in spring, just last spring she asked for a poem about autumn, I think it’ s her favourite season it’ s mine as well but I was born in autumn so that explains it, I don’ t know what her excuse is. Disclaimer: I didn’ t know what to write. In my mind I kept repeating these words like a mantra: something magazine-y( I am making that a word), something about autumn, rebirth and the likes … After several hours this was the last of the two things that I came up with so I’ m not really hoping you enjoy it but maybe just that you sit through the whole thing. The weather is not only about how windy it is outside but it seems as though it also sparks certain behaviour in people. Economists study the relationship between the seasons and consumer behaviour in order to form a basis for predicting demand for certain products during that season( not that one needs a study for some of the data collected i. e. it is only logical that one is more likely to buy a heater in winter than any other season). Albeit, they have been able to tell which product will be bought when and how much of it will be bought by studying weather patterns. Seeing how well it worked out for the economist, I decided to do my own seasonal preference short story for all the love struck pearls putting themselves out there, in the gusty market!
