made in hell around. “When we are going out, I make sure I don’t give a lift to any woman. The one time I carried a woman in her presence, the woman later came to me after a month complaining that she was continuously menstruating. Her ordeal had started immediately after disembarking from my car. I also don’t talk to women in ‘her’ presence. She is jealous just like any other wife.” he said. “For the past 15 years living with ‘her,’ my love is growing stronger by the day. I don’t want to upset ‘her’ by doing things that ‘she’ does not want. I have told my relatives about my ‘wife’ and they don’t seem to mind about my choice,” said Moyo who kept on darting to his bedroom to check on his ‘wife’. He said he has prepared a beautiful garden where ‘she’ relaxes during the day. The house is heavily durawalled that it is impossible for people and neighbours to eavesdrop. “We sometimes have our difficult moments as husband and wife. ‘She’ gets angry sometimes and I would not want to tell you what she does to me. At one time, she constricted me and I nearly passed out. It was after I had failed to account for the money from our daily takings from the kombi business we run together,’ he said. Moyo, who lives a seemingly comfortable lifestyle, said he does not mind what his neighbours think of him and is quite happy with his unique lifestyle. Neighbours who spoke to The Parade confirmed that Moyo was a strange man who has no friends but is often Feature ke for 15 Years heard t alking to someone during the day or night. “It could be true that he has a snake because he does not associate with anyone. Sometimes he laughs at the top of his voice as if he is talking to someone,” said Mr Magret Phiri, Moyo’s neighbour. Strange happenings in this suburb are not only confined to Moyo with his “snake wife”. There are numerous cases of Satanism, cults and mysterious murders that occur around the suburb. Late last year, members of different church denominations held a cleansing mass to get rid of goblins, snakes and other strange objects used in juju in the suburb now dubbed the Sodom and Gomorrah of Bulawayo.
