The Parade decided to give you some pointers which will help you to have a smooth holiday. Do remember the underprivileged The festive season is a time to share and spread the love around. It would be a good gesture if you donate something to charity or help the needy. Volunteering your time to help others also is a good way to lift your spirit and broaden y o u r friendship. One of the best ways to help the less fortunate is to collect stuff and hand it over to the needy or street kids. Do chill out with friends and family During the course of the year most of our time is consumed by our work leaving little time for family so the holiday give us time to relax, have a good time and catch up with family. Remember show love to family and all around you and focus on the treats and traditions that truly mean something to you. Do plan ahead and stick to a budget One of the worst mistake people make is doing last minute shopping which will see you using some extra dollars than intended. Prior to Christmas discuss with your spouse and family members what feels right for you and follow that. The best thing is to draft a-to do list, decide how much money you can afford to spend then stick to your budget. Don’t try to buy happiness just be yourself.
