The pain behind the smile (May. 2014) | Page 23

Than the party came it was my friends Calvin's it was supposed to be the biggest party of the year so I had to go. There was alcohol, people were smoking. There were drunk and sweaty bodies everywhere I was on my 2 beer when I started to feel a little buzzed. That’s when I saw it, it was Marcel and he was with Calvin I walked up to him I had to know why he was here. Calvin pulled me aside and told me that they were going to embarrassed Marcel they were going to get him drunk and push him into the pool.

Half way through the night I lost Calvin and Marcel then I heard a Marcel he was yelling for help and there was Calvin holding Marcel by the pool. When Calvin saw me his eyes lit up. Then he said push him I didn't know if it was the alcohol in my blood or the fact that everyone was watching my every movement but I pushed him. He came back up gasping for air he got out and started to cry when he heard everyone was laughing at him he ran out of the party.

On Monday when I was walking to my home room I saw him he was with his mom and that was the last time I saw him he moved because he couldn't take it anymore. We broke him he looked so fragile, so scared but yet he look relieved that he was going to be out of here. If I could go back and say something to him I would apologize let him know that I was sorry for everything I did that I just want to have a clean slate with him. But most importantly I want him to know that I am sorry.
