I: So tell D9 about your chapter, anything that you would like our readers to know.

D: We’re all male, like a fraternity is supposed to be lol. It’s a shame that has to even be said. I named this chapter Chi Rho because of the ancient Christian Chi Rho symbol that was unofficially adopted by the Epsilon Mu Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi at Florida Memorial University, which I belong to in RL.

I: Oh, a RL greek…ii…that’s awesome!

D: The reason the symbol was adopted is because the Epsilon Mu Chapter was chartered April 30th, 1996 and one of the men who made that possible was a Lutheran minister and that date is the same day the “church of satan” started. That unsettled him, thus the Chi Rho logo on the Lutheran flag was something we associated ourselves with and we will continue to do so until a Chi Rho Chapter comes into existence by the normal science we name new chapters, but we are a long way off from that still. We also have a promo team called Pretty Boy Nupe Ent. this was designed by Khris, another member of PBN, along with myself and Jay. Khris is also a Kappa in RL from the Theta Nu Chapter at the Univ. of LA-Lafayette. He crossed in Spr’ 07 and myself in Spr’ 11 and tomorrow at 7:53 pm marks the 3 year bond for me.

I: This is all very insightful. Thank you for sharing that with us and Happy Anniversary (Kappaniversary). Being a RL greek, what is your perception of greek life here on IMVU?

D: At first I found it extremely depressing, and still at times I don’t feel much better about it overall, but I’ve met some genuinely good people, and some that at least take the actual tradition seriously. I figured that’s all I can ask for on something like IMVU, so I’m happy with that. I feel like IMVU gives the potential to do some RL good things, which is the reason I decided to start a chapter.
