What is your funniest or craziest answer from a student on an assessment ?
A :
My first year of teaching Kindergarten , I asked the class what number comes afer 20 ( a trick ques : on as our number line only went up that high ). One of my " low " kids started jumping up and down , raising his hand crying ' please pick me ! I know this one !' So I did . He promptly yelled out " EXIT ". Sure enough ... our number line ended right before the EXIT sign . Technically he was right , exit did come afer the 20 . -‐ Lisa W .

We were taking end of year state tes : ng in fourth grade for science . The students were asked : what are the three states of ma`er ? one student answered : TN , KY , and Ohio . -‐ Elizabeth S .

On a reading test one of my students wrote that Rosa Parks and Martha Steward rode on the back of the bus together . -‐ Susan Ann B .

I asked students to pick a story and to tell me it ' s moral . Boy answered : li`le red riding hood . The moral is ... do NOT run into a wolf in the woods ..." cuz they will jack your lunch ". Hard to argue with that logic ! -‐ Lisa W .

A 4th grade class was filling in the " bubbles " on a standardized test about ethnicity . His choices were the typical " Caucasian , African American , etc ." One boy raised his hand and said ( totally serious ) " Miss , I don ' t know which one too choose . My mom says my dad is a REDNECK !” -‐ Emily C .

I asked my third grade students to name the state bird and the state flower . I then asked if there was anything else the state has and one student answered , " we have a state trooper because one stopped my mom on the way to school this morning .” -‐ Cindy B .
