The Orchards FACETIME FOR THE FIRST TIME SOCIAL MEDIA IS A HUGE HELP Social media is playing a huge role in social interaction for Americans all across the country! Our residents, many for the first time, are using social media to interact with their loved ones near and far. In addition to photos being shared on our social media page and good old fashioned phone calls, The Orchards residents have started using skype, facetime and facebook to connect with their friends and family! Each facility has devices set up with video and audio so that, no matter where you are or how great the distance, you can spend time with your favorite person while keeping the safety practice of social distancing. If you would like to schedule a time to “social media visit” with a resident, please contact the building’s activity director. Be sure to discuss the type of social media that will be used and have it set up on your device prior to the scheduled time of “visit”. The Orchards residents look forward to seeing you! WELCOME NEW RESIDENTS Please welcome our new residents when you see them across campus! The Orchards of East Liverpool Barb C. John H. Mary H. Derwin M. Clarence S. Pepperberry Suites Sue A. Bruce W. MESSAGES OF LOVE In an effort to keep our residents safe, a restriction was put into effect regarding visitation. The smiles of our residents are so radiant, that we wanted to ensure friends, family and The Orchards Community would still be able to share in their love. We asked our residents if they could send a message to their loved ones, what would the message say? Their responses were those of love and missing. Assurances of safety, happiness and well being were shared. Many wanted to remind their family to stay home and take precautions to keep themselves healthy and happy. Remember to be safe, stay well and wash your hands for at least 20 seconds! The-Orchards.com
