Once they know that God loves them, you can explain to them that God sent Jesus, his son, to save us from sin. It’ s all about how Christ came to crush sin in order to save us.” Expect questions and check for confusion. Invite your friend to talk again later, and maybe introduce them to your pastor or youth leader who can also explain things. It may take hours, months, or years … but we can rely on God as we share His awesome love with others!
God, knowing full well whether a person will accept or reject his love, offers people the choice. We are called to take the gospel to everyone, even to those we don’ t think will accept it. This truth is both sobering and encouraging; knowing that some will not receive it should break our heart in pieces. God will place the choice before them, and He wants you to be part of His plan. When we follow God’ s plan, we get to know
Him better and better.
Salvation takes a moment to receive and a lifetime to understand, and becoming a Christian doesn’ t make somebody perfect. Christians or not, all people make mistakes. If we were perfect, we wouldn’ t need Jesus.
The gospel is a message of hope. It’ s a message of hope because of the change that Jesus can bring into your heart and life. Only Jesus offers such hope.
The gospel is a message the world desperately needs. If it truly a message of love, then how can we conceal it? Love always acts in the best interest of others. If you ask him, God will provide opportunities for you to spread the Gospel.
