much bigger men like Antonio Margarito, Oscar De La Hoya and Joshua Clottey. Since moving into the big time, Manny has shown nothing but a solid beard, and man, he's taken some shots. There has not been many fighters who have constantly faced the best and taken their best in recent memory; the way Pacquiao has done.

I really dont believe we'll see Pacquiao come back and fall over the way Roy Jones has tended to do when he's been touched on the chin after suffering his KO defeat to Tarver. Pacquiao is always in immense physical condition and the way they spar in the Wild Card, this would probably show up.

It was interesting reading that a doctor from Pacquiao's homeland had recently been interviewed and said he has noticed some early signs of Parkinson's disease in the fighter. Maybe that is something the boxing commission that sanctions Manny's next fight can look into.

I do believe that if Pacquiao was showing any signs of that disease, though, Freddie Roach would pick up on it. After all, he's been through it and knows the signs.

I believe for almost six rounds against Marquez, we saw the best Pacquiao in the ring since he won a decision against the tough Mexican Antonio Margarito.

Marquez flattens Pacquiao

Sometimes fighters just get caught. I believe Pacquiao just got caught.

2013 looks like it will bring us two more Pacquiao fights and obviously there's going to be some skeptical fans out there, as I mentioned earlier. This could work two ways, however, and maybe it will drive Pacquiao on, to try and become better than before and we will all see him return to the form that cemented him as one of boxings true all time greats.

Time will tell us about that but it would be risky to put Manny Pacquiao back in with Marquez in his very next fight. Top Rank should really be looking at having Manny in a tune-up. Possibly against Tim Bradley who holds a dubious points decision win over the Filipino icon.

Tim Bradley is a very good technician and he is as strong as a bull but he is not a puncher. If I was Bob Arum I would look to ease Pacquiao back in with a fighter he knows in his heart of hearts he has beaten before, and one he would rightfully get the decision over next time. I think the Bradley rematch makes perfect sense. 2013 should be the year of the rematch for Pacquiao."

be the year of the rematches for Pacquiao.
