An Inside Look at the NJSACOP Staff

The heart and soul of the NJSACOP is the staff . The team , under the direction of Executive Director Mitch Sklar , run the day-to-day operations of the Association . The team is often commended for their dedication and focus on serving members in many capacities . Below are spotlights on our staff , which we feature as a way to extend our deepest gratitude for their service .
Jennifer Conover
Title : NJSACOP Programs & Publications Manager Hometown : Cherry Hill
Previous Work Experience : I was a senior meetings manager with Association Headquarters , Inc .
Years with NJSACOP : 15 years
What work do you do ? I handle the administrative coordination of all NJSACOP Professional Development courses . I also create the NJ Police Chief Magazine each month , as well as many NJSACOP brochures . In addition , I handle the NJSACOP website www . njsacop . org .
What is the most important / satisfying part of your job ? That would be knowing that I am able to assist our membership with their needs and serve the law enforcement officers that serve our state every day .
What is the greatest value of NJSACOP membership ? To know that you are a part of the greatest State Association in the country .
Hobbies / Pets ? I enjoy watching my kids play sports . Most weekends you can find me at a baseball field or a cheerleading competition . I also have a dog named Fenway ( Go Red Sox !)

Harry J . Delgado
Title : NJSACOP LEAP Accreditation Program Director Hometown : South Brunswick
Previous Work Experience : I was a Captain in the South Brunswick Police Department and served as acting chief numerous times .
Years with NJSACOP : 12 years
What work do you do ? I am the Accreditation Program Director , in which I direct , plan , organize , and coordinate all accreditation programs , functions , and activities of the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police Law Enforcement Accreditation Program , the New Jersey Public Safety Communications Centers Accreditation Program , and the NJSACOP Law Enforcement Accreditation Commission .
In addition , I provide leadership as the current president of the AccredNet leadership team to ensure cooperation and communication amongst states with accreditation programs .
