The Curious Incident of the Dog

at Night-time

Written by: Mark Haddon

The novel “The Curious Incident of the Dog at Night-time” by Mark Haddon is narrated in first-person perspective by Christopher John Francis Boone, a 15-year-old boy who describes himself as "a mathematician with some behavioural difficulties" living in Swindon, Wiltshire (England). Although Christopher's condition is not stated, the book refers to Asperger syndrome.

The book is notable for using prime numbers to number the chapters, rather than the conventional successive cardinal numbers.

I really enjoyed this book because it was written in a special way, and the story is different than most mystery novels. Christopher is a very special person with a view of the world that is much more different than ours.

In two words? Amazing. Different.
