Doppelganger Week
The first week of February (Sunday to Saturday) is an internet viral trend. During this week, users all over the world change their social network profile picture, especially on Facebook, to a picture of a celebrity, athlete, historical figure, or friend that they think they look like.
The word doppelgänger is a loanword from German consisting of the two words Doppel (double) and Gänger (walker or goer).
Doppelgangers are commonly found in science fiction and folklore, originally with a ghostly, paranormal sense. In some traditions finding your doppelgänger is a sing of bad luck.
