The Super Bowl is the annual championship game of the National Football League (NFL). The champion in this game is the national winner of the season. , the game is played on the first Sunday in February.This year the game was played on the 7 of Febuary.

The Sunday on which the Super Bowl is played, now considered by some to be an unofficial American national holiday. This is the 50 year that the finals will take place.

The super bowl is one of the most watched annual games in the whole world, on average 100 million people from the US only watch the game at every moment. The 2015's finals break records, 114.4 million people, it was the most viewed televion broadcast in all the American history.

Over the years it became a trend, popular musicians or bands preform. Before, the host state brought the "home" marching bands from local colleges or high schools. When the game became nationwide, the trend emerged. The performer shows at the halftime show, in the past the show was shorter but as the years go by the halftime break was enlarged. A special performance was in 2002, when U2 performed the song "Where the Streets Have No Name" above them was a large projection screen which scrolled through names of the victims of the September 11 attacks.

The winner in the super bowl 50 were the Denver Broncos.
