When Marine soldier Jake Sully's brother is killed in a robbery, Jake decides to take his place in a mission to a faraway planet called Pandora.
Jake is disabled because of a spinal injury. In exchange for the treatment to cure him, Jake agrees to bring intel for the army that will be used in their plan to mine precious materials from the planet.
The problem is that when Jake is sent to the planet simulated as one of the creatures living there called the Na'vi, he quickly falls for the beautiful Na'vi female called Neytiri. Soon enough Jake realizes he must stop the army from destroying the planet.
Now I will not tell you more, so I won't spoil the movie for you! The movie is three hours long with many special effects, directed by James Cameron.
In my opinion this is a good movie with a good story that is quite touching. I recommend this movie because I like the story and I think it is interesting regardless of the fact that it is long. I don't think it still runs in cinemas but you can buy the disc or order it from your VOD. Make sure to make some snacks because you are going to need them!
