Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card
Nomi Lewkowicz
I highly recommend Ender’s Game. It was an amazing read. I always felt immersed in the book. This book was turned into a movie. The movie is quite accurate although the book is more in depth.
As you read the book, you follow the journey of a boy in a post-war world. As Earth is preparing for war with the Bugger's (giant antlike aliens), the army is recruiting young talented children for training at Battle School. Ender Wiggin is one of the chosen children. There, with special attention from the military, he rises to the top.
Meanwhile, back home, his brother constantly causes trouble and his sister is trying to stop it. The book spans over many years, from child to adult.
I liked the book because it was very detailed and gave me accurate images. Also, it had an interesting plot line. My favorite character was Bean, Ender's friend. He was a character with tons of personality.
So yes, I recommend this book with all my heart. If you are into futuristic sci-fi, or just good reads, this book would be great for you.
