Want a party so why don't you just make party potatoes. :)
You need to perpare instant mashed potatoes for 12 people. Then you add 8oz. package of cream cheese, a small cartoon of sour cream, and instant onion salt. Mix together, put in a regular cake pan. Then dot with butter. Sprinkle grated american cheese on top. Cover the cake pan and bake for an hour at 325. Let it set awhile before you eat it.
