Thank you for reading The Mud-witch, a short story collaboration between Microsoft Office
2016, author Zoe Gilbert, illustrator Isabel Greenberg and the British public.
In September 2015, Microsoft Office 2016 challenged the British public to help create the
ultimate collaborative short story by sending in their ideas via Twitter. Who was our main
character? Where was our story going to take place? What were the main characteristics of the
people in our story going to be?
Zoe and Isabel then worked tirelessly over the next few weeks to bring together some of these
brilliant ideas, and here is the finished book!
