Patricia Figueroa Remembering a Remarkable Community Leader It is with great sadness that we share news of the passing of Patricia “Pat” Figueroa. Pat was a pillar of the Mountain View community who dedicated her life to making our city a better place. Pat served as the Historical Association’s president from 2011 until this past January when she stepped down to undergo cancer treatment. A celebration of Pat’s life is scheduled for Sunday, August 7 at 3:00 p.m. at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts. Pat will be dearly missed and warmly remembered. On August 6 the City of Mountain View will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts with free performances including music, dance, comedy, theater and film on all stages throughout the day! As part of the event the MVHA will present a historic slide show on the Civic Center’s history.
