The MVHA is excited to announce the return of one
of our most popular programs in recent history, our
“Mountain View Dia de los Muertos” celebration. The
Dia de los Muertos tradition offers our community a
time to remember and honor those who have come
before. These themes of reflection and remembrance
go hand-in-hand with our organization’s mission to help
share Mountain View’s past—and the stories of the
people who shaped its history—with the public.
Our event will once again feature traditional dance
performances by Raices de Mexico and a live
performance by Mariachi Tapatio. This year will also
include an arts and crafts table for both kids and
adults. Last year, the event sold out, so be sure to RSVP
and secure your ticket as soon as possible. For more
information, see page 6.
Members of the Raices de Mexico dance group perform at our
2016 Dia de los Muertos celebration.
