language of the internet. The intentional misspelling of words has always been a part of the internet, from leet speak’ s‘ joo’ instead of‘ you’ or lolcat’ s‘ teh’ instead of‘ the.’“ Succ” is a new variation of these misspellings. Fig. 95 uses the“ Feels Guy” meme to associate an emotion with this new word. Fig. 94 a comic that uses this word as well as being a meta narative about layers of irony, as if they were something to be desired. There was a video and dramatic reading of the comic that continued the abstraction.
“ Dolan” is a meme created in 2010 as a parody of Donald Duck. He is often portrayed as a psychotic killer and sex addict.( Fig. 99)“ Dolan” was originally created in a Finnish cartoon using bad MS Paint drawings of ducks entitled“ Donald Duck.” Other common formats for the“ Dolan” meme was to intentionally misspell or remove words in the text. Fig 97 is a parody of fig. 98 which is a rage face made in 2008 used to express the feeling of relief and pleasure when something goes“ better than expected.”“ Dolan” would parody this by excluding various words or modify them and showing abstract actions that still retained relatability. Fig 100 a comic using the character“ Gooby,” based on Goofy and part of the“ Dolan” universe. Its comedy is based in the constant expression and the rejection of the comic format. This self-referential humor shows the cpntinuation of meta humor.
