It is time now to recognize and
empower the mind. Refocus.
Be selective on what deserves energy.
Anything that is negative is using up
energy and being fuelled into
existence. So why not use that fuel to
empower something positive? In fact
Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) and his
family (a.s) have spoken about how
fear of anything other than Allah
(swt) is polytheism.
This shows how debilitating and
stifling fear is as it takes one away
from Allah (swt).
I find a lot of people do not speak
about this openly, perhaps they fail
to recognize its importance, but
recently I have felt that perhaps this
is the reason why we cannot elevate
to a place where we can perform
“miracle” because fear and faith and
closely linked - the absence of fear,
means clear faith.
Faith is shattered under the burden
of fear because it cannot exist there.
So, if we jumped into doing what we
feared, the fear will dominate itself
less and will slowly begin to
diminish. I suppose one of the
reasons why this is not a topic that is
often spoken about is because society
feeds off of fear, it benefits from the
sense of control that comes from fear.
It is easier to dominate people and
make them do what the ego monster
wants if they are functioning at fear
level. And we have the best example
of Sayyida Fatima Zahra (a.s) who
was fearless confronting the
usurpers as was her daughter
Sayyida Zainab (a.s) in the court of
the accursed Yazid (a.s).
In a society where you are fearless,
the hold of the puppet masters
doesn’t stand. This is when you begin
to see things for what they are and
not what you have been told they are.
So what do you choose?
Fearful or Fearless?
