Truly, if one reads “The Emerald
Tablets” with an open mind, the
majesty and nobility in the words is
apparent. It is a text which focuses
completely on self-elevation through
love and connection with Allah (swt).
During a time when there are many
wars and atrocities happening in the
world, it is fundamental that the
believer builds an armor of strength
and certitude, for there are many
tests ahead. Fear is a knee jerk
response to many things and this is
the barrier hindering true elevation.
It is natural to be wary, but many of
us are in such a heightened state of
danger alert that we are almost
obsessed in looking for signs for the
next big thing, in doing so we miss
what is being shown to us right now.
Yes, we want the rise to happen and
we want to be with our Imams (a.s),
however, right now our focus should
be on preparation. Not physical, but
mental. The physical things are
nothing but clutter if the mind is not
focused and full of certitude. Prophet
